Research prototype: This planner can import a public FPL team by ID, but does not track your individual selling prices, free transfers or chips. The points estimates are unvalidated heuristics. Transfers are hypothetical; no FPL account changes occur. Bank is based on current listed prices, not purchase/selling price.

1. Load data

2. Import your FPL team

Enter your public FPL team ID (the number in your FPL points-page URL). This reads public picks only and never changes your FPL account.

Imports the latest available gameweek lineup, captain and bank. If the current gameweek's picks are not public yet, Touchline tries the previous completed gameweek. The planner remains hypothetical.

3. Set up your squad

Select 2 goalkeepers, 5 defenders, 5 midfielders and 3 forwards. Each club can contribute at most three players. Enter the bank amount available after acquiring the squad.

⚽ 4. Predicted Lineups & Rotation Intelligence v2.6 beta

⚠ Predictions, not guarantees. Managers may rotate unexpectedly. Green does not guarantee a start. The automatic XI uses a position-constrained heuristic, not verified tactical lineups. Check official team news before transfers or captaincy decisions.

Touchline now picks an XI automatically. Official recent PL minutes load for the selected club, with injuries and suspensions taking priority. The FPL feed does not confirm starters or formations. Official FPL availability now refreshes automatically while the page is open. Press-conference and other-competition feeds are not connected yet. New: expand the omission audit below Auto XI to check FPL injury and recovery wording for players left out.

🟢 90–100% · 🟡 65–89% · 🟠 40–64% · 🔴 0–39%. These bands reflect estimated chance of starting, not data confidence. The model uses season-level proxies and cannot distinguish bench appearances from starts.

📸 Automatic prediction snapshots

Touchline automatically selects the XI. Save a snapshot before kickoff if you want to keep a record of the prediction. Verified post-match results are not yet imported automatically, so accuracy scoring is paused until a reliable lineup source is connected.

FPL does not provide actual tactical roles in its standard public feed. These are attacking-output candidates inferred from expected goal involvements per 90 minutes, not verified out-of-position players. A defender playing LW/LM cannot be confirmed from this data alone.

Model v1.6.1: position-based prior, regression of observed points per 90, a modest xGI adjustment, playing-time probability and conservative fixture difficulty. Blanks count as zero; doubles sum both fixtures. These are model estimates, not validated predictions. Risk flags use FPL availability and minutes data. The model does not include confirmed starting lineups, detailed xG/xA, transfer hits or automatic substitutions.

The model excludes free-transfer balances, hits, chips, and future price changes. Forecasts are experimental and unvalidated; positive gains are not guaranteed.
